Geumsan operates Insam(Ginseng) Integrated Exhibit Hall to make the excellence of Korea Insam(Korean Ginseng) publicly known to the people at home and aboard and to show that Geumsan is a suzerain production district having a 1,500-year long history of the ginseng cultivation and a distribution center of Korea Insam(Korean Ginseng). The building has a gross floor space of 1,018 pyeong and a lot size of 3,131 pyeong and its construction was started in February 1997 and ended in April 1998. The major facilities are as follows. The first floor includes a food-sampling corner (55 kinds of Insam(Ginseng) cuisine are served) and a shop for displaying and selling the products. The second floor includes a video show room (composed of a magic vision section for the origin and cultivation of ginseng, a section for the ginseng-related tools and models, a section for the ginseng related home and foreign products, a self-diagnosing oriental medicinal herbal clinic, a video room, and a video material room for the culture and panorama of Geumsan Insam(Ginseng)), an exhibit room for the ginseng and medicinal herbal products, a conference room, and a building management room.
